Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Embi Media collects, how we use it, how we protect it and what rights you have. It applies to embi-media.com and to the Dominus platform.

1. Data controller

Apad LLC, better known as Embi Media, is a header bidding network that provides advertising monetization services and UX consulting. Embi Media is responsible for deciding how and for what purpose the data described in this policy is processed.

2. What data we collect

We collect the data needed to deliver monetization services and performance reporting to advertisers and websites.

  • Google account data: when you sign in with Google on Dominus, we retrieve your name, email address and profile picture. This data is used only to identify you and maintain your session.
  • Publisher and site data: domains, Seller IDs and supply chain declarations that publishers submit to configure their inventory.
  • Advertising configuration data: bidders, orders, creatives and monetization settings that the publisher defines in the platform.
  • Aggregated usage data: impression, click, fill rate and eCPM metrics required to generate performance reports.

3. What data we do not collect

Embi Media does not collect or process sensitive information. We do not process data relating to religion, health, political opinions, sexual orientation or any other sensitive data category under GDPR.

We do not access the contents of your email, your personal files, your precise location, your contacts or your activity outside Embi Media services.

4. How we use data

We use data solely to provide and improve the user-facing features of our products:

  • Authenticate your session and manage your account.
  • Sync your advertising inventory with your Google Ad Manager account.
  • Run header bidding auctions and serve ads on your sites.
  • Generate the performance reports you request.

5. Your Google data and the Limited Use requirements

When you connect a Google Ad Manager account, you authorize Embi Media to access the data required to manage your advertising inventory. Your use of data obtained through Google APIs is governed by the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Explicitly:

  • We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for advertising, targeting, data brokerage or creditworthiness purposes.
  • We do not use it for targeted advertising, personalized advertising or retargeting.
  • We do not use it to build databases.
  • We do not use data obtained through Google APIs to train or improve artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
  • We do not use Google APIs to generate, create or distribute non-consensual intimate imagery, including AI-generated NCII (AI NCII).
  • Human access to your data is limited to what is required to provide support, prevent abuse or meet legal obligations.
  • We retain your data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. You can request deletion at any time.

6. Who we share data with

We do not transfer or disclose your information to third parties for purposes other than those described in this policy.

We share aggregated and anonymized data with advertising networks and SSPs only as a normal result of the advertising auction process, without exposing your identity as a platform user.

We may share data where necessary to comply with legal obligations or to protect our rights and those of our users.

7. How we protect data

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control and access monitoring.

Google Ad Manager access tokens are stored encrypted and rotated periodically.

8. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection to the processing of your data at any time, as well as portability of that data.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

The embi-media.com website uses only the strictly necessary technical cookies required for it to work. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies for prospecting purposes.

10. Children

Our services are intended for companies and professionals over 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes in our products. If the way we process data obtained through Google APIs changes, we will publish the change on this page and ask for your consent before using the data in that new way.
